Amy Arbus and Bebe Neuwirth

A couple of years ago, Amy Arbus published an AMAZING photo book called "The Fourth Wall," which featured an incredible array of fantastic black-and-white portraits of actors from various Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Check it out here:

Amy is now working on her next book, "Beyond the Fourth Wall" -- a color version of its predecessor.  On August 26, she shot several cast members from The Addams Family in-and-around the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.  I grabbed these shots as Amy worked with Bebe Neuwirth.  It was a great afternoon.  Can't wait to see the finished product!  ;-)

An amazing benefit concert that was orchestrated by my friend Bianca Marroquin, "To Mexico From New York with Love" took place on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Kaufman Center in New York City. 

All of these were taken with the Canon Rebel T1i / EOS 500D.  Love it!!

Welcome...

Welcome to my photo blog.  I've been getting some nice feedback from people about my photography lately, so this is an outlet to share some of my favorites. 

Until now, I've pretty much been self-taught (with the occasional helpful tip from the various sales guys at B&H). But on September 22, I'll be starting photography courses through PhotoManhattan.com.  I'm excited to see what comes from that, and it'll be wonderful to have a better understanding about what makes a good photo. In the meantime, here we go....
